Hey All! A quick update since I’m over here bumpin’ big time in Tahoe. I’m 34 weeks so just about 6 weeks to go until we meet our little lady! My main focus these days is preparing my mind and body for labor. I’m still pretty active, taking barre and yoga classes Fitness Rangers several times a week, plus my daily walks. A few months back I read Ina May Gaskin’s Spiritual Midwifery and her Guide To Childbirth which I really enjoyed. I’m currently reading Hypnobirthing by Marie Mongan and am really excited to try the relaxation exercises. I am totally aware that I need to be open to whatever happens when I go into labor, focusing on the health and safety of baby girl and myself, buuuut I’m feeling really good about our birth plan. Did you have a birth plan? Any advice for this first time mama? Until then, we’ll just be here soaking up the gorgeous Lake Tahoe sun.
